Product selected in the best years with the harvest of the finest grapes postponed and aged for at least two years in small oak barrels.
Ruby red colour, full, intense, tending towards a violet colour. Characteristic fragrance of woodland undergrowth, with well-developed notes rounded and complex, spiced by particular elegance, dry and full flavour, pleasantly tannin tasting, important the acidic note typical of the plant. Excellent evolution over time. Nostos is the most important expression of this traditional vine. The refinement in small oak barrels for about 36 months exalts its great structure. The choice of the name, almost a title, is a clear reference to the classical world, to the theme of a return, whether to one's country, to one's home or to oneself. It is, therefore, an auspicious wine and underlines the value that wine has had throughout its history: to welcome a guest, to cheer up a meeting, to mitigate an arguement or to fortify one’s spirit. Present in the firm for a few years and an important completion of the production range. Complex wine of very mature tannins, therefore large in the mouth, immediate, pleasant and rounded, almost jam-like, endowed with flavour and thickness, it quickly saturates the taste buds with prolonged persistence.

It is one of the traditional wines of the Bolognesi hills, forever considered an exquisite wine by passionate wine lovers. The vineyard is formed from different clones bought in France and also for this proves to be a complex and personalised wine both by aroma and by taste. Great cleanliness to the nose and the mouth, it maintains the very accurate sensory notes typical of the vine plant; green scents of tomato leaf and of fig, of boxwood, of grape in flower, indomitably wild, enveloping and extremely persistent, very refined and of great class.

Present in the Bolognesi hills for about four decades, it has proved to be a grape variety with extraordinary results, confirming its deserved international fame. Its low yields both in the vineyard and in the cellar and its organoleptic characteristics make it a wine well endowed with noble tannins and important polyphenols. As is often the case in nature, it can be hard and raw when young. It therefore needs slow and constant ageing in wood to tame its exuberant personality, only then does it become a balanced and harmonious wine, complex and well-structured, frank and immediate, unmistakable, to be accepted or rejected, but never banal or inconsistent.

It is a different interpretation of the potential of Pignoletto. It is made from selected vintages and is aged for more than a year on the lees. The end result is a very distinctive, fruity, unmistakable sparkling wine with a pleasant bouquet of ripe fruit, savory and personalized.
